Feedback about the Retreat:
“I have been at many retreats and this is one of the best. I felt comfortable as soon as I arrived - I loved the 2 yoga sessions, the blissful quiet time, and the lazy afternoons reading by the pool. Evenings of friendship, faith, laughter, and singing. Rie creates an amazing, safe space to just be yourself and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and teaching.” Lisa (UK)
Practical Information
Address:
Finca el Moralejo. Tolox, Andalucía 29109, Spanien (that is all you get as they are not big on addresses. See map further down). The nearest small town on a mountain top is ‘Alozaina’. Most likely you’ll drive around the city and a few minutes later turn left up the hill towards ‘Finca el Moralejo’.
Getting to and from:
The house is placed 50 min. drive from Malaga Airport. More information on the taxi service later. As of now, we know that 4 people can share a taxi that costs around 90€ in all.
Flying to Malaga is the best option. You might not need to pay for luggage as it is warm, and what you can bring as “carry-on baggage” might be enough.
Pricing:
This retreat is approximately 30% cheaper than most 6-day long yoga retreats. You get the whole retreat for only:
Shared four bedroom: 490€ pr. person
Shared double room: 580€ pr. person
Single room: 725€
This includes a CrossYoga journal, accommodation, food, bed sheet, and towels. Getting to and from the airport/house is not included. (You will be asked to help with the dishes 2 or 3 times during the retreat).
Arrival and Departure:
Arrive anytime from 2pm the 21st/27nd. These days are only for arrival and for you to settle in. There will be served a light dinner at 7pm. You can also arrive on the 2nd day in the morning (22nd/28th). We start introductions and CrossYoga at 10am.
The retreat ends with dinner, and “a time to share evening” on the 26th/ 2nd. Most choose to stay the extra night to the 27th/3rd. You have to leave the house no later than 11am on the last day (this is why we finish the day before). There will be served Breakfast on the last day!

About the house & retreat
The retreat is held in one or two big houses. The main house have a pool and that is also where we do yoga. The house is build in a typical spanish style and it has a breathtaking view.
We will be around 18 participants if the retreat is full, and you’ll get to know people really well as there is plenty of time to talk - but that is if you want! You can also choose solitide if that is what you need!
You can join the retreat if you are not used to doing yoga! Don’t let that hold you back!
At the retreat I will be teaching Christian yoga and I teach with respect for anyone that might have other spiritual beliefs other than Christian.
Retreat Leader
Rie Frilund Skårhøj, from Denmark, is the founder of CrossYoga and hosts retreats, teacher training and more. She will guide you through the yoga practice at the retreat.
She is an author and experienced teacher, so you are in safe hands whether you are experienced in yoga or new. She will teach a mix between slow and flow yoga including meditation.
She also offers some facia-release techniques during the yoga practice. This we call ‘self-massage’.
