You must know that I am deeply grateful for the training. It all came together for me because it was so versatile and with so much relevance. At the same time, it was very special to experience my personal connection with God. My heart has meet God in a way I do not remember having experienced for very many years.

How Christian/spiritual is this training?

CrossYoga Academy takes great pride in offering a high-quality training founded in both an academical and Christian mindset. We respect the roots of yoga and acknowledge that yoga has changed a lot since its early start.

With the academic mindset, we make sure to use references and recognized scientific research when it comes to the body, yoga philosophy, and yoga history. We also stay humble and acknowledge that we don’t know everything.

As for the faith part: you don’t have to be Christian to join this training! As with most Yoga Teacher Trainings you are represented with spirituality so you learn about Christianity and e.g. how to theme a faith-based class. We do not take faith for granted though and we avoid words and phrases that are hard to grasp as we want to respect that we are all on different paths in our lives journey with spirituality.
